Special
Teams Solutions, led by former Rutgers specialists Lee McDonald and Charlie Titus, ran
the event.

Patrick Clarke from Delaware Military Academy (DE) really impressed with a
perfect showing on field goals, hitting all ten attempts with a long of 52 yards off the
ground. Clarke had an equally impressive kickoff performance averaging 63 yards with
3.74 hang time per kick. “Patrick shows DI ability. Very good leg on kickoffs. Great
lift and accuracy on field goals. One of the top kicking prospects in the northeast for
2011,” says Lee McDonald, Director of Special Teams Solutions. 2011 prospect Chris
Garaffa of Lampeter Stradburg (PA) High School connected on 9 of 10 attempts with a
long of 47 yards from a 1” block. “Chris is a solid combo prospect with a good leg and
poise. Very accurate. Improved kickoff and punting technique will up his numbers,” says
McDonald. Corey Broughton of Elkins (WV) High School was the top punter posting
a 44 yard / 3.8 seconds hang time per punt average. “Corey performs well on all three
skills and has developed into a legit college prospect. Solid leg, frame and upside," says
McDonald. Among the snappers, Nick Sinclair of Paul VI (NJ) Hi School set the pace
by averaging .75 per long snap from fourteen yards. “Nick is a definite DI snapping
prospect. Great frame and upside. Very good velocity. A little more polish and he will be
college game ready,” says McDonald.

In the varsity class of 2012 division, Bryan Myer of Manheim Central (PA) High
School proved to be the best overall performer by connecting on 6 of 10 field goals with
a long of 44 yards, averaging 61 yards / 3.7 seconds hang per kickoff and posting a 43
yard / 3.8 seconds hang time punting average. “Bryant shows huge potential as a combo
prospect. Good size with a strong leg. Look for big things down the road with some
work on his mechanics,” says McDonald. Gabriel Policare of Trinity (PA) High School
showed his upside in averaging .89 seconds per long snap from 14 yards. “Gabriel is
new to snapping and shows much potential. Good size and zip on the ball. Improved
mechanics and experience will make him a legit college prospect,” says McDonald. In
the junior varsity class of 2013 division, Chris Gulla of Tom’s River North (NJ) High
School was the most outstanding performer going 9 of 10 on field goals with a long of
43 yards and averaging 55 yards / 3.7 seconds per kickoff. “Chris is a very accurate,
composed kicker with a live leg. His size and athletic ability make him one to watch in
the class of 2013,” says McDonald.

National Camp Series - Raleigh, North Carolina - July 23, 2010

Raleigh, NC Regional Event
Ravenscroft School
July 23, 2010
Overcast / Scattered Thunderstorms / 90 Degrees
Surface: Grass

Specialists from across the mid-Atlantic gathered for the National Combine Series
Raleigh, NC Regional Event. Special Teams Solutions, with the assistance of NC State
Long Snapper Corey Tedder, ran the event.

Competition among the class of 2011 college division was fierce. Charles Snyder
of Myers Park (NC) led the way by hitting 8 of 10 field goals with a long of 52 yards
from the ground. “Charles has a great leg and size. Big upside. A little more tweaking
with his mechanics and he will be ready to go. One of Carolina's best kicking prospects
for 2011!” says Lee McDonald, Director of Special Teams Solutions. On Kickoffs,
Michael Branthover of DeMatha Catholic (MD) edged Snyder with a 66 yard / 3.9
seconds hang time per kick average from a one inch tee. “Michael is a rare scholarship
prospect on all three skills-field goals, kickoffs and punting. He has a great leg, solid
mechanics and is a fierce competitor,” says McDonald. Branthover also took top punting
honors with a 47 yard / 4.1 seconds hang time per punt average. Among snappers,
Ravenscroft School’s (NC) Connor Fry was the top performer with a .84 seconds per
long snap average. “Connor is a legit college snapping prospect. Good size, frame and
zip on the ball," says McDonald.

In the varsity division class of 2012, James Mitchell of Hickory (NC) went 7 of
10 on field goals with a long of 43 yards from a one inch block. “James has a good leg
and size to work with. Solid accuracy. Has the potential to play in college with a bit more
polish,” says McDonald. Chris Lehman of Leesville Road (NC) led all varsity kickers
with a 56 yard 3.2 seconds hang time average from a one inch tee. "Chris hits a straight
ball and gets good lift but needs more work to get to the next level. Should make huge
strides with better technique," says McDonald. The top varsity level punter proved to be
Worth Gregory of Fort Mill (SC) who posted a 42 yard / 4.0 seconds hang time per punt
average. “Worth has a chance to be special with a great frame and above average leg. A
little work on his form and he could be a DI prospect,” says McDonald. Micah Martin
of Southern Durham (NC) averaged .89 seconds per long snap. “Micah shows good size
and above average speed and accuracy. More work on his technique could land him at
the next level,” says McDonald.

National Camp Series - Boston, MA - July 23, 2010

Boston, MA Regional Event
Xaverian Brothers High School
July 23, 2010
Overcast / Heavy Thunderstorms / 70 Degrees
Surface: Field Turf

Kickers, punters and long snappers from across New England gathered for
the National Combine Series Boston, Massachusetts Regional Event. Special Teams
Solutions, led by Lee McDonald and with the assistance of Old Dominion University
snapper Jeff Black, ran the event. Specialists battled heavy rain at times but performed
well despite the conditions.

The top field goal performers included varsity division class of 2012 kickers
Michael Baron of Roxbury Latin (MA) and Connor McHugh of Lowell (MA) High
School and who both went 8 of 10 with a long of 47 yards. Baron did so off the ground
while McHugh used a 1” block. “Michael Baron has a good, accurate leg from years of
soccer. He has a passion for kicking. Hits the ball well off the ground and will continue to
improve," says Lee McDonald, Director of Special Teams Solutions. “Connor McHugh
is an accurate kicker with good lift on the ball. Solid leg. Improved kickoff technique
will up his rating," says McDonald. Junior Varsity class of 2013 kicker Justin Johnson
of Campbell (NH) High School also went 8 of 10 on field goals with a long of 42 yards
from a 1” block. “Justin is a good up and coming kicker with solid accuracy and lift on
the ball. More work on mechanics will improve his stock," says McDonald. Freshman
class of 2014 kicker Greg Roder went a perfect 10 of 10 on field goals with a long of 42
yards on a 1’ block. “Greg is a very accurate, strong young kicker who is already off a 1"
tee. Look for big things down the road,” says McDonald. Thomas Bochicchio of Wolcott
(CT) High School led all kickers on kickoffs with a 57 yard / 3.0 seconds hang time
average. “Thomas has a strong leg that needs a bit more work for the next level. He gets
good lift on the ball and can make a big jump if he puts in the work," says McDonald.

There were several impressive snapping prospects on hand. College division
class of 2011 snapper Rick Lovato of Middletown South (NJ) High School led the way
with .78 long snap average from 14 yards. “Rick is a surefire DI snapping prospect.
Has all the tools: size, athleticism, speed, accuracy and poise. Hard worker who will
continue to improve,” says McDonald. Alec Finn of Medford (MA) High School
was not too far behind with a .88 per snap average. “Alec has good accuracy and
speed. Solid athlete with a good frame. Definate college prospect,” says McDonald.

National Camp Series- Long Island, New York - July 23, 2010

Long Island Regional Event

July 23, 2010

Surface: Field Turf

St. Anthony’s High School – South Huntington, NY

Sunny / 85 Degrees / 10 mph wind

The clouds parted and the rain stopped just in time for the National Combine Series Long
Island Regional Event to get underway on what ended up being ideal conditions on a sunny July
afternoon. Special Teams Solutions represented by former UMass and Arena Football 2 kicker
Chris Koepplin and current Maryland specialist Nick Ferrara ran the event.

The College division 2011 kickers and punters all performed well on the day. During the
Field Goal portion of the competition Patrick Toole (Wallkill Senior HS, NY) impressed with his
accuracy, smooth technique and consistent ball flight kicking off the ground and going 8 for 10.
Tim Wienclaw (Kellenberg Memorial, NY) showed off his leg strength connecting from 52 yards
while going 8 for 10 off the ground as well. Kevin Donohue (Chaminade HS, NY) and Aidan
Little (Millbrook HS, NY) both hit the ball solid and connected on 7 of their 10 field goal
attempts.

The Kickoffs were dominated by Patrick and Aidan who both launched several kickoffs
deep into the endzone. Patrick turned heads with excellent hang time and distance on his kicks
hitting one 2 yards out of the back of the endzone. Aidan showed his athleticism and size to be an
asset by averaging 64 yards and 3.66 seconds of hang time per kickoff. When it came time to
punt Tim Wienclaw stepped up to show his potential as a combo prospect by averaging nearly 48
yards per punt. Aidan Little was right there as well by averaging just under 46 yards on his ten
punts.

The Varsity Divison kickers competed well with James Doktor (St. Anthony’s HS, NY)
converting 7 of 10 Field Goals to lead the group. James shows good potential and his continued
hard work on mechanics should help make him a more complete kicker in the future. Matthew
Paola of Pomperaug High School (Middlebury , CT) traveled down to Long Island and brought
the wood. Kickoffs of 70,70,69,67 and 63 yards impressed all in attendance and Matthew showed
his pedigree as a future college prospect. Ryan Norton (Garden City, NY) had a great natural
pop coming off his leg, potentially a future combo prospect once his technique allows him to
reach his full potential. Matt Testani (St. Francis Prep, NY) showed great promise as a snapping
prospect with his great size and accuracy continued work will help his speed improve to help take
it to the next level.
